Founded by an adventurous family!
Preceding an accident (a fall in December 2011) left a father seriously injured with mobility issues and unable to access his own home. The family proceeded to search the market for a solution to minimize the required remedial work or remodel without the
need to add an elevator shaft or atrocious ramps that would destroy the architectural integrity of any home. Unsuccessful with the market search, the family purchased a Cargo Lift from a Texas based cargo lift company. The father was afraid of the Cargo Lift and it violated every code in the elevator industry for people's usage. This led to the father founding Elevated Living Specialist (ELS) while improving the quality and providing a much stronger built Cargo LIft with extra safety features.
However, the father wanted to provide a home Vertical Platform Lift (VPL) built from aluminum and stainless steel that is code compliant for people. He DID! He collaborated with one of the owners of the Texas based cargo lift company and an
elevator consultant, this effort was a success!
ELS is headquartered in South Louisiana with a manufacturing facility in South Mississippi with a mobile sales, service and installation team covering Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Arkansas.
Since 2012 ELS has grown as a top contender in the Gulf Coast mobility residential and light commercial elevator industry. Providing our clients with complete 100% turn key residential elevators indoor and outdoor with installation.
